Caramels: Our origins begin with caramel, over 60 years ago. Our passion for caramel is reflected in the wide range of traditional and creative caramel products to suit a range of applications. Metarom are world leaders in the caramel field and have adapted many recipes to suit regulatory requirements, including allergens and low-sugar products.
Our caramel range features simple caramel syrups, made with sugar in water in copper kettles, the old fashioned way. These syrups are the base of all of our products and can be used alone as a flavor or caramel color. The addition of fats and proteins allows for a range of unique caramel creams, toppings, fillings and variegates – our complementary flavor expertise means these can be tailored to suit your requirements. We also make caramel inclusions and powders, both dairy and dairy-free for a range of different applications. We also offer specialty caramel ingredients.
